    Hi,

I love the plugin, you’ve done an amazing job, thank you!

A question I do have though, what is the process for migrating a Sportspress installation from one site to another? I have a cricket club website which I am re-designing and I’d like to take all the old stats etc from my current website to the new one.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi!

The easiest way is using a plugin like all in one wp migration, so you can just export data from one site and import in the other!

Hello, I am in a similar situation.

I have some data in one site and I wont to create another website (totally different) but will have the same sportspress competition. So I need to:

    1) migrate all content related to SPORTSPRESS to the other website. Taking into account the previous comment, using a plugin like all in one wp migration, can I only migrate sportspress plugin?

    or

    2) Feed somehow the tables, results, etc.. from site 1 to site 2.

    is this possible?

    thank you!

    Hi Petrov!

In your case it’s worth testing the WP-admin > Tools > Export. Try exporting all data.

Sometimes WP won’t export all the post metadata correctly though

    Hi Roch

That plugin is great if I was migrating my entire site however I am only looking to migrate my sportspress installation from my old site to my new site. I can export/import all the teams etc. however what I am really asking I guess is how do I export/Import my SportsPress configurations? I have custom entries in league tables etc. that I would like to copy across to the new site. Is this possible?

    Thanks
    Dan

    Hi Dan!

Only manually copying the WP options table entries, for example. WP stores plugin options and content in different places so the XML will not do it for you

Since we haven’t heard back from you, I’ll set this one as resolved.

Please, let us know if you need anything else.
