    Hi All:

I currently use the Custom CSS in Customizr to modify my post/pages. I’m thinking about creating a child theme(as my mods are growing and growing).

So I was wondering if I need to remove all of the styling code I currently have in the Custom CSS field before creating and implementing a child theme?

  • Nope.
    They can live together.
Consider that the Custom CSS will be “loaded” after your child theme, so if you have same rules in both places, Custom CSS rule will override child theme rule.

Agree, but I’d suggest the long term goal is to secure your permanent changes in Child Theme and use CustomCSS as a testing area for new CSS
