Last weekend I tried to migrate from my pc harddrive to a Flywheel demo site and failed. I just read your detailed documentation

    https://help.servmask.com/knowledgebase/all-in-one-wp-migration-user-guide/

and realized I need to add a line to my host file first since I’m migrating to a new server (new location)and the line is

    [IP address] [www.yourwebsiteURL] [yourwebsiteURL]

Not being tech-savvy, just want to be sure I understood it correctly before doing it again.

[IP address] is the ip address of the server at my new location

[www.yourwebsiteURL] is the full site URL (including www) of my new location

[yourwebsiteURL] is the site URL (excluding www) of my new location

I’ll try with both Flywheel demo site and Cloudways free trial site. Since neither of them are being pointed at by their domain, both have a funny unusual URL. And they don’t have www at the beginning. So should I still add the [www.yourwebsiteURL] in the line? Do I keep the [ ] in the line or do you just use them to separate the 3 parts for easier reading?

Also my downloaded backup site is 534mb. I’ll try to downsize it. Is 512mb a strict limit? Thank you.

Here is an example of a hosts file:

    123.123.123.123 www.wp-migration.com
    123.123.123.123 wp-migration.com

    124.124.124.124 www.another-one.com
    124.124.124.124 another-one.com

Check with the hosting provider about what is the upload limit that they put. There is no strict limit into the plugin.
