    You can use the default WordPress importer.
    Or you can export the database with PHPMyadmin, replace the URLs and import it on the new database. That’s what I do in this case.

    I tried both… WordPress importer is limited @size of the file, and it blocks in the middle often…

    I’m using the phpMydmin and exporting tables from local to online, but it’s a manual daily job, and slow… so I’ll try to find a better solution to automatize the process…

    My main reason is the Load of the site caused by many plugins using cron all the time… (auto-tagging, auto-categorizing, auto text corrections, etc etc…) so the online site has only few lightweight plugins installed, and it’s super fast…
