Migrate from Genesis Author Pro

  • I am beginning to rebuild my site and would love to move away from Genesis Author Pro as a tool for my book reviews. It created taxonomies and I imagine there would certainly be SEO implications, but is it possible to make this switch to Recencio?

    Hello @kelltech

    I had downloaded the Genesis plugin and had a cursory glance at it. Now I just need time to walk through its code to see what data it is storing and where it is storing it to see if I can write a plugin to migrate its data to Recencio.

    Sorry about the delayed response, I started a new project at work so that has most of my time.

    Wow, thank you @w33zy for having a look at the Genesis plugin. For reference, I’m rebuilding away from Genesis framework in favor of FSE and the vast potential it has and to be honest, I’ve never really liked the way the review plugin I’m using operates.

    No worries on any delay, and all the best on your new project.
