• Hello, I am in search of some documentation or at least a brief overview on how to go about adding an existing multisite into my existing multi-network. I currently have 6 different multisites setup and running smoothly with many subsites on each. I like the idea of being able to port them into a multi-network setup for ease of management. Any help will greatly be appreciated.
    Thanks

  • I’m interested in this also. Did you ever get a response to this or find a solution?

I haven’t tried this, and it’s really a GUESS, but if you go to networks and ‘edit’ the network, there’s are ‘site assignment’ section at the bottom. Again, pure speculation on my part!

Read this, be very VERY careful and make sure you have a good backup — https://deliciousbrains.com/wp-migrate-db-pro/doc/multisite-tools-addon/#migrate-subsite-between-multisites — because you will need the Multisite Tools addon which extends WP Migrate DB Pro with WordPress multisite specific functionality. For the moment, until they have developed this too further, you will first need to export the site to a single site install, and then migrate it to the new multisite. If you follow their instructions, it will work fine for you. I just migrated 6 sites using their tools, which are, in my opinion, some of, if not THE most professional and reliable available.
