Migrate blog from custom CMS to WP

I have a client trying to get away from a proprietary CMS. Problem is they have 300 blog posts. Outside of manually importing what are my options?

I’m not sure what they offer as an export yet. I’m seeing some CV/Excel plugins but how does that deal with images?

Another option is PHP Simple HTML DOM Parser. That’s interesting. Could write a script that basically found what I was looking for and then inserted a post.

Only problem I see here is how would I automate it to crawl all the pages.
