Middle set of slides not rotating, getting stuck.

    Hello,
    I have been working on a digital signage solution built on WordPress for Teradyne Inc. and I have ran into a small issue with meta slider. The page I have posted a link here for has 3 pages that rotate using foundation data-orbit slider, Agoura Hills, Employee News, and Teradyne News. When I refresh the page in my browser, the middle page of the three (and this changes with each refresh so it may be a different one each time) will get stuck and not go through the slides every 10 seconds like it’s supposed to. The first and third pages (which slide through and change every 25 seconds) will work great.

    I am thinking there might be a conflict with Zurb’s Foundation data-orbit properties and ones that Meta Slider is using to transition through the slides. What is strange is that it has nothing to do with the slides, but rather which one falls in the middle of the three. I feel like I have tried everything and can’t get it working. Have you heard of any issues like this before? (fyi.. Works best in full screen mode in Fire Fox with a 1920×1080 resolution display).

  • Hi there,

    I think I know what you’re trying to achieve but because there are two different slider types they won’t be synchronised at all making the timings variable at best and causing loading issues as you’re experiencing at worst.

    I’m not sure this combination of sliders is suited to your needs unfortunately.

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if you know of a code snippet that will refresh the slider after a given period of time or something like that. I am thinking that maybe if I can refresh the slider after each foundation orbit that it will kick start it instead of glitching and getting stuck on the first image on that middle slide.
