Mid-August 2016 update caused /category/ and /tag/ pages to disappear

  • After extensive testing of both my database, permalinks, and restoring a backup to make changes one-at-a-time, I narrowed down the disappearance of my category and tag pages to the latest update of WP Hide Post.

    Love this plugin, but can’t have it breaking my site like this. Because it’s now currently disabled, all my HIDDEN posts are currently visible to the world.
