    Hello,

I am using Microsoft 365 and I have set on the Admin center the SMTP authentication.
I have set the passwords but still, I get the error below.

SMTP ERROR: DATA END command failed: 554 5.2.252 SendAsDenied; [email protected] not allowed to send as [email protected]; STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message [BeginDiagnosticData]Cannot submit message. 0.35250:FA300000, 1.36674:0A000000, 1.61250:00000000, 1.45378:02000000, 1.44866:25190000, 1.36674:0E000000, 1.61250:00000000, 1.45378:2A190000, 1.44866:58010000, 16.55847:020D0000, 17.43559:0000000024020000000000000000000000000000SMTP Error: data not accepted.

Do you know what I might have done wrong, or where to look?

    Best Regards

  • The email use to login does not have permission to send emails as the user used using in the from field. Your office365 admin should be able to set this up for you.

    Hello @raymoncada1 ,

Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, the system admin did not leave any notes or anything, and the person that runs the office 365 admin does not know anything about this stuff at all.

As I am not familiar with the Microsoft Office suite, but I am developing their site, I have to figure this out somehow. So i thought, if I add on the Additional Settings tab (inside the easy wp SMTP) and under the “Don’t Replace “From” Field” field, the other emails that I use on my contact form’s form field, and also add them as an alias on the Microsoft account that I have set as SMTP authentication, could something like that work?

    Best Regards

    Hi,

In regards to the settings, the following support thread might help you.

Thank you also for your reply. I have configured the settings as they should be. Now the mails can pass. But now the problem is that the emails that pass have all as the “From” email address, the address that I have put in the SMTP Authentication and also on the From field on Easy WP SMTP. But if inside the contact form, I use the [email protected], then the form is never received. Also if I add on the plugin’s Additional Settings tab, the email address on the “Don’t Replace “From” Field” is still been blocked from Microsoft.

So I don’t know what else I can try for this.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

If your email has been blocked by hotmail/Outlook then the following URL might be able to assist you with your email issue.
    https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/pm/postmaster.aspx

Also check to make sure your email is not landing in the spam box.

    Kind regards.

I will check the link that you pasted, but I don’t see any errors or any emails in the Spam folder. They just do not deliver, and if I change the form or in removing the address from the Additional Settings tab, then the mail comes through.

So I am guessing it might have something to do with an alias of an email.

But I really don’t know how to set this.

    Best Regards
