I’m setting up a Google Merchant Feed for my site and, as expected, Google wants me to jump through quite a few hoops…

One is, only a “warning” at the moment (do I trust Google to not make it an account suspension? Answer: Of course not) where the microdata does not match the feed data.

Looking at the schema.org markup on the product page it clearly shows that for a variation with a price of, say £10.00, the schema.org property is returning the base price not the variation price.

There is a plugin that purports to:

This plugin fully implements schema for WooCommerce. If you are looking for the most comprehensive schema.org product plugin for WooCommerce, you’ve found it. This WooCommerce plugin leverages schema.org to tell search engines MUCH more about your products than what is built in by default. It explicitly tells search engines of Products details so that search engines can better match your products with user search queries. WooCommerce’s default markup only goes part way in this regard, this plugin fills in the rest.

but is this something you guys are working on?
