• I have the Pixel Caffeine plugin version 2.1.4 running on WordPress 5.5.3 with WooCommerce 4.6.1 and I have the Facebook Pixel setup via the plugin. Everything shows that it is working and I can create an XML file for the Facebook catalog. But I keep getting an error that says:

“A required field is missing: id
Products without “id” information can’t be uploaded. Please check that this field is included for each product in a separate, labeled column.”

But when I look at the XML file it shows that the products do have an id:

<g:id>X05T20-1G19</g:id>
<g:title>
Smencils 5-Pack
</g:title>
<g:availability>in stock</g:availability>
<g:price>6.99 USD</g:price>
<g:shipping_weight>0.1 lb</g:shipping_weight>
<g:google_product_category>Toys & Games > Toys > Art & Drawing Toys</g:google_product_category>

I also get this message when trying to manually get the catalog to connect to the feed from my site in the Facebook Ads center:

“This pixel’s microdata is incomplete or incorrectly formatted
To use this pixel to add or update items in your catalog, you need to install the required microdata tags on your website.”

I don’t see any options in the Pixel Caffeine plugin to make any changes to the microdata. Does anyone have a fix for this? Or is there a different plugin I should be using that can fix this?

Thanks

• many of us have the same issue. The fault is probably on Facebook side. I even tried with complete vanilla install of brand new WP and brand new WC + Storefront theme, and I get the same error.

Hi,

sorry for the delay here! Is this issue resolved? I don’t have this issue on my local end and I fear it was a temporary issue from the Facebook API as said.

Let me know.

Yo actualmente tengo ese problema, ?ya hay solución?

i’ve got the same problem.
If i try to import the catalog from pixel it says that microdata are not setting correctly or missing.
