Micro data not present. facebook pixel not connecting to catalogue or add items

Thanks for getting in touch. To get started, can you please provide us the following information:

1. Your site’s System Status. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

2. Is your site connected to Facebook currently? If so, you should see all the id’s and names of the page, catalog, and business at WooCommerce > Facebook.

3. Are the products set to “sync and show,” as described here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/#section-6 ?

4. If the answer to the above two questions is “yes,” can you turn on debug logging and trigger a sync by making a product update? Then, check the facebook logs by going to WooCommerce > Status > Logs in your dashboard, opening the dropdown by the “View” button, and finding the facebook logs there. Once you find the one from today, could you copy the contents of the log into https://pastebin.com/, click “Create new paste,” and then share the link so that we could take a look?

5. Can you send us a screenshot of the Facebook “meta box” on the edit product screen? This is the section on the right side that shows information about the product on Facebook. When properly synced, it displays the Facebook item id which is a direct link to the product on the Facebook shop page. When not synced, it says “not yet synced,” and when incorrectly synced, it might list the variation id, but not the Facebook id and link. I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URLs in your reply. It works with Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Lastly, some other users discovered this:

– Consider reformatting your description so your items don’t use all uppercase letters as it may cause an error.
– Updating the product twice, one right after another, generated the variants IDs and then products get synced.

Hey @cagrikarapunar,

I noticed that you have a large database mismatch where WooCommerce is at 5.4.1 and your database is WC Database Version: 4.0.1 (March 2020). Quite a bit has changed since then code-wise. Additionally, your theme is Parent Theme Name: Avada - Parent Theme Version: 6.2.2 and the current version is 7.4.1 (which it looks like 7.4 brought a whole load of JS updates). I also see PixelYourSite: by PixelYourSite – 8.2.5 as an inactive plugin. I’m not sure if that is hardcoded but if it is possible to delete while trying to make a connection, that would helps rule that out as a potential blocker.

Next step would be to update the database and the theme and if you’re still running into problems, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been done.
