    Hello people – I’m totally new to WordPress and have bought the ‘WP for Dummies’ and ‘WP Web Design for Dummies’ but am stumped by the most basic thing – how do I edit the ‘top blue navigation bar’ on my HM NEWSDESK LITE theme ?
    And add pictures?
    I am sure I am missing the most basic instructions somewhere.
    I would like to put links in to pages, change background and font colour etc.
    Is there a theme I can use for practice that comes with a step-by-step tutorial on how to modify it?

    Hi,

    You can edit the options in your WordPress menu under Appearance > Menus.
    There is no option to add pictures to the menu.

    If you want more options for changing color and such I recommend looking into our Premium theme, the free version has limited customization options and doesn’t allow you to change the color of the menu.
