mf gig calendar disappeared

  • the mf gig calendar has disappeared from my wordpress website. Tried re-installing it but it fails (see below)

    Installing the plugin…

    Destination folder already exists. /home/petecant/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mf-gig-calendar/

    Plugin install failed.

    My page is still showing [mfgigcal] but plug ins page says no plug ins are installed.

    Any way to restore the calendar and all my gig information?

    I’m guessing something just didn’t completely install or update. Or you’ve got another plugin conflicting with it. Strange.

    You can manually remove the plugin (via FTP) and then simply reinstall it. The database should remain intact (won’t delete itself or your data) but you should always do a DB backup before just to be safe.
