Hello ! That plugin help me a lot and is what I was looking for !
However, I also use the media categories plugin that allow to add categories to my media. The plugin add a new tab in the media upload tool that help to select a photo by browsing categories. The problem is that when selecting a photo within a category , the “Use as featured image” as no effect!
Do you think something can be done about that ?

Thanks in advance for your reply!

    Didero,

I checked the Media Categories plugin, and it doesn’t look like “Use as Featured Image” doesn’t work for posts either. I have to assume at this point it’s a bug with the Media Categories plugin.

Please let me know if there’s any more snags.

    Hi again !

    You’re probably right !
I also have others plugins such as FIAG Gallerie, LAZYEST Gallery, and NextGen Gallery, some of them even don’t display “Use as featured image”(FIAG Gallerie and LAZYEST Gallery), but for NextGen gallery, “Use as featured image” is diplayed and seems to work but finally the user photo is not updated, so it doesn’t work neither !

    Best Regards,

    Hello,
I am using the Metronet Profile Picture plugin to place a profile picture for my membership site members: [www.nursingwitandwisdom.com]

I chose it because I don’t think most of my clients want to use the Gravitar links and just want a simple picture or upload picture as their profile picture.

However, the Upload or Change picture link connects to the Media gallery for my site. Not a huge problem, as I uploaded about 15 pictures that could easily be used as profile pictures if they choose.

However, it also has all the pictures and graphics I use on the site.

I would like to organize a separate gallery or media program that I could specifically have the profile picture options only. Can anyone recommend how to do this or a plugin I could use.

And, I am not an expert WP user, just a beginner, so I need instructions too!!! ??

    Thank you!!
    Audrey
