Metform fails with “Something went wrong” on submit with default settings

    I created my first form with default settings. No email setup. No integration.
    Simply created a new form, added 3 text fields and 2 checkboxes (all required).
    When I test the form, it throws “something went wrong”.
    There is also no entry getting recorded.

    I googled the issue and suggestions seem to be referring to setting confirmation and notification emails but I have not enabled those settings yet.

    How can I troubleshoot what is going wrong?

    This is resolved by enabling the store entries option.
    The warning that comes when saving the changes disappears too fast. It should be a persistent warning.
