• Hi this plugin is really wonderful and friendly.

It worked perfectly until I installed the plugin WP-prettyphoto. After then the height of Slideshow space has changed, and my custom height seems to be overridden (shown as barred in CSS inspector). Now I have disabled that new plugin but the problem is still there: I see a wide white space below my slider.

I am sorry I can’t show the website because I am still working in local with MAMP.

It could be a Javascript conflict? (I am not skilled at all with java…)
I am building a child theme from Adapt theme by WP Explorer.

    Best and thanks,
    Antonella

Hi Antonella, thanks for trying my plugin. It’s going to be tough for me to troubleshoot that without seeing the site, but if you could post a link to the PrettyPhoto plugin you tried I can test it out.

Hi josh, thank you very much for you prompt answer. I tried and tried again, and now I found out that the problem is not with that plugin as I supposed, but it is because I have added a vertical image as a new recent slide, and the space now occupied is the size of that whole (hidden) image. Do you know this kind of problem?
    Thanks, Antonella

The slides should be cropped to the height you have set in the slideshow options if they are larger than the slideshow dimensions. Did you upload this vertical image after setting the slideshow dimensions?

If you could get the site online that would be a big help in finding the problem.

You are right, but it will be online soon; I am still testing it on many details.

Yes, I uploaded the vertical image after having setted the slideshow dimensions (900×288 px).
But for the horizontal ones, the crop was automatic, wasn’t it?
In that case I noticed that they has been cropped, and the result is that I see their center slice.

They should all be cropped whether they are landscape or portrait. Post a link when you get it online and I’ll take a look.
