Metaslider broken on WordPress 5.7.1

    Hi,
    I recently updated my WordPress and found that Metaslider ist not working anymore. All buttons are full screen and underneath one another. When I click on one it transfers me to a white page. So I cannot set up new sliders anymore. Old sliders still work fine.

    I’m currently using WordPress 5.7.1. I already tried reinstalling the latest Metaslider and switched the php versions from 7.4 to 5.6. Nothing worked so far.
    Any suggestions on how I can get metaslider running again?

    Any help is much appreciated.

  • Hi,

    We didn’t encounter similar complaints recently. So, this issue might be caused by another plugin/theme.

    Can you please check if the issue is resolved when only MetaSlider and the Twenty Twenty One theme are active?

    Hello, thanks for getting back to me. I’m hesitant to change the theme, to be honest, as I’ve had some problems getting it to properly switch back to the actual theme afterwards. Disabling all other plugins has not fixed the problem, though.

    Anyway, I’ve been having several troubles with Meta Slider in the past, so I’ve switched to another slider now.

    Yes I can confirm this. In Admin area Sliders don’t appear.
    Does not help switching to twnty-some theme.
