    Deprecated: WPSEO_Frontend::metadesc is deprecated since version WPSEO 14.0 with no alternative available. in /home/onlin260/public_html/thehowandwhatwebhostingnerd.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4723

    Whats the fix to this. Also, when yoast is one since the new update our cpu on the server taking alot of resources

    Hi, yes this was after updating to 14.0.
    and it was showing at the top of the banner.

    @thewebnerd There were several patches released after the initial 14.0 release. Can you please confirm whether after updating to version 14.0.4 whether this resolves the issue? You can learn more about updating here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/how-can-i-update-my-free-plugin/

    It got fixed after we deactivated and reinstalled it again.

    @devnihil any other suggestions on this one?

    I just updated my Yoast to 14.6.1 on WP 5.4.2

    I don’t use the wpseo_metadesc hook anywhere on my site, except in the core woocommerce includes/class-wc-query.php (unmodified)

    I have deactivated and reactivated Yoast, but to no avail.
