Metadata Sorting User Grid

    I am using your plugin for our kooking club. With the profilegrid we have made an membership search and grid view.

    Currently you can sort on firstname A-Z or Z-A and lastname.. Olderst and Newest.

    Is it possible to sort on different user metadata? Or something so we can can achieve this need?

    If this is a custom development job, we have a small budget available.

    Currently ProfileGrid does not have feature to add sorting based on different user metadata.

    We do not provide custom code to our plugin as of now.

    How much would it cost for you to develop such an option?
    We have a small budget available.

    I hope there is some kind of solution to add a sort on a certain metadata value.

    Hi yes i do have another question. Default sorting is on oldest, can the default sort for the users grid be changed to for instance Lastname A-Z?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the default sorting order on group page as of now. However, we will be rolling out the feature to fix this in future.

    Is there any update on this? I’ve been looking through help messages and this has been on the plans for months. It would be a REALLY useful feature.

    Is it possible to edit the php file that generates the users grid?

    Also the Search box at the top of the users list has a dropdown with ALL the fields from the registration form – even the ones where I ticked “no” to Show in Advance Search. Any idea why?

    Due to technical reasons, we had to postpone the release date for the fix. We will reschedule this soon and update our release notes, when the change is live.

    Currently, you may not be able to hide the fields in group page filter drop down. And also, you may not be able to add meta data sorting on users grid as of now.
