This is my first post here, so hi to everyone. I have a pretty specific request to which I suspect there may well be no answer! I’m currently importing hundreds of images from my archives into NextGen galleries. In my archives, use the “headline” metadata field to store a piece of information I would like NextGen to import as a tag. At present I am copying the “headline” metadata field to the “keywords” metadata field in Lightroom using a plugin, but it’s not working as smoothly as I had hoped. So my question… is there any way to change the metadata mapping in NextGen so that the “headline” field is imported as a tag? Fingers crossed and thanks in advance.

    Hi @lynkos,

Unfortunately, there’s no currently such a possibility to map the “headline” metadata to “keywords” so it could populate the tags unless perhaps continuing to use a LR plugin for that purpose but I am assuming that you are already aware of that.

Many thanks for the rapid response. Yes, I imagined that was the case. It’s no big deal, just me being lazy! Have a great day.
