    Hello @zincdigitalwp,

Thanks for reaching out. Checking the page source of /shop/, there’s no meta description, while the SEO title is <title>| Cocoon Corporate Gifts</title>. Can you share a screenshot of what you have entered in the Yoast SEO meta box as meta description for the page? You can use any image-sharing service like https://pasteboard.co/, https://snag.gy/, https://imgur.com/, https://snipboard.io/, or even upload the screenshot to your own website. Once you upload it to an image-sharing service, please share the link to the image here.

Thanks for the screenshot, @zincdigitalwp. The SEO title in the page source is also not the same as what you entered. Please try the following and let me know how it goes:

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

Thanks for this suggestion. Followed the instructions but unfortunately the issue still remains.

I’m sorry it remained unresolved. Often, we see problems occur in combination with another plugin or theme. The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Twenty-Two.

Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not, we recommend using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which does not affect normal visitors to your site.

If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: How to check for plugin conflicts

If you feel uncomfortable doing this yourself or if this does not solve your issue, our Yoast SEO Premium plugin comes with one year of (technical) support.

    Hello

We have switched the Storefront theme and disabled all plugin apart from Woocommerce and Yoast but we are still unable to see the correct meta title and description

Due to the nature of the issue, we’ll need to take a look at your setup. However, we are unable to do it here as this is a public forum. You could consider purchasing a ?Yoast SEO Premium? subscription since it comes with email support. Then we can investigate the issue further directly on your setup privately.
