Meta Title Not Displaying Correctly

    I think that my theme has something in the code that overrides the meta titles set by my Yoast SEO plugin? In addition to the title I manually add using the Yoast plugin, my site name also appears in the title. How can I change this? It must be default setting somewhere, but I can;t figure out where/how to change it.

    You’ll notice that the title tag displays as: “Pretty Girls – Official WebsitePretty Girls”

    However, I ONLY manually entered “Pretty Girls – Official Website” – the “Pretty Girls” that follows is automatically added in by something.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Yep, that’s likely a theme issue, and since you are using a commercial theme, you’ll need to contact the developer for help – we don’t have access to those themes so can’t be of much help.
