Hi Thanks for such a good plug-in.I have successfully translated one of my site with this plug-in.
But now i am facing a problem with my other site which is patseer,
when i switch to other language , meta title and and description does not change. It shows the default english title.
    My permalink settings are :
    Common Settings
    Month and name

Using a static front page : Yes.

    Polylang setting :
URL modifications – The language is set from content
Hide URL language information for default language
    Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks
The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id

Detect browser language – When the front page is visited, set the language according to the browser preference

Media- Activate languages and translations for media.

on a staging server i tried different combination but didnt work out : staging server link : https://patseer.staging.wpengine.com/

    #polylang #multilanguage

    Hi!

You can translate All in One SEO options in Settings->languages->strings translations

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply, i tried the above option but somehow problem continues.
I am pretty curious that for one of my site i didnt change the strings from All in One Seo options Settings->languages->strings translations and updated meta elements per page and its working very well, but when i try to do that here on patseer website its not working. I am using updated version of both Polylang & All in One Seo. Is there any other option shall i try?

Strings translations are useful for the home page because you enter its meta in All in One SEO options. For posts, you should just enter them in the relevant edit post screen. Take care that when translating a post, the meta are pre-populated with the source values.

I am sorry but I don’t understand what you want to change. You can translate homepage meta in strings translations and post meta while editing a post. What’s wrong?

    Hi Chouby,

Sorry for the late reply, What i want to change is the Meta title of My spanish and portuguise site. Even after changing Meta titles from Settings->languages->strings translations, they arent changing, they are showing default language’s i.e. of English languages meta title.

    To be very specific

    English default language
    Spanish – secondary language
    Portuguise – Secondary language

But even after changing string translaions for Home pages, i see only english languages meta title on all seondary language.

Now how do i covert these metas for secondary language ?

( Settings->languages->strings translations already done but still showing english languaes meta on all secondary)

URL modifications – The language is set from content

Please change this option to “the language is set form the directory name in url”.
