Meta title and description ignored by google

Hi,

I’ve checked your website and see that for example on your home page and on the page “webdesign” the meta are properly loaded in Google search results.

Please do note that meta are “submitted” to Google only and their algorithm determine regarding the search request, the page content and some other factors if the meta information will be returned or not. Usually, if your meta information fit your page content, Google should load them.

Thanks for your answer. When I search for diener design I cannot see the title and description that should be submitted from the plugin
– Title (should be): Werbeagentur für Webdesign und Corporate Design in Zürich
– Description (should be): Die Werbeagentur Diener Design aus Wetzikon bei Zürich ist Experte im Webdesign, Corporate Design und Grafikdesign. Wir lieben Design und helfen bei der der Erstellung eines Logos, Gesch?ftsdrucksachen über die Programmierung von Webseiten, Online-Shops und Newslettern.

But Google shows something completely different:
– Title: Diener Design | Wetzikon, Zürich – Werbeagentur, Webdesign …
– Description: Die Werbeagentur Diener Design aus Wetzikon bei Zürich ist Experte im Webdesign, Corporate Design und Grafikdesign. Wir lieben Design und helfen bei der der Erstellung eines Logos, Gesch?ftsdrucksachen über die Programmierung von Webseiten, Online-Shops und Newslettern.

So this doesn’t seem correct. And on all other pages it doesn’t work either. When is the title and description that I insert in the plugin settings on the page (WP Meta SEO – Page optimization) used?

And the destination Page URL is: https://diener-design.ch/

I could now finally see some changes though. Do I have to reindex something or alike?

Sounds good, depending of the website and its content it could take some weeks.
Did you add your website XML sitemap to the Google Search Console? It usually accelerate the index speed.
