Meta title and description fields disappeared

    That option does not exist for us. There is no “show meta box.”

    No settings were changed. This has worked for years. All of a sudden it stopped working.

    We are in WP 5.4.2

    Sorry for the trouble. There is an option to turn on/off the SEO and Readability analysis. Can you please check whether they are enabled for you? Please go to SEO > General > Features (tab).

    If they’re already enabled, can you please provide us a screenshot of your Yoast SEO meta box?
