Meta Tag Manager Not Working

  • Dear Sir,
    Yesterday I update my new version of WordPress Version 5.5 and I found that Meta Tag Manager is not working. It does not add valuhaes and dropdown on Post Pages are not working does not show any value. Kindly check and rectify the problem. Thanks

  • Yes I’m also having the same problem. At first it was only on one page that I could not add new tags but later even existing pages could not be updated. A pity as I really love this little tool

    Any update on this issue by any chance?

    As I see that one can type in the fields but when I save it returns as blank

    We have noticed the Meta Tag Manager is not working on our site too. Same issues as mentioned in the comment section by miqmiq – Please update this plugin a.s.a.p thank you.

    Yes same issue for me. I love this app. Hope the fix comes soon.

    Is there any hope that this plugin will be fixed in the near future or has it been abandoned? I’m really sad to have to find another option. This was such a great solution.

    Hello, I am having the same issue, when can this be sorted or must I search for a new meta tag plugin.
    this is such a great help for me.

    @timrv , when is there information regarding this, I see all my saved meta tags in meta tag manager have deleted then selves or are missing.I understand this happened with the wordpress 5.5 update and I reverted back to an older backup when every thing was working but wordpress insisted that I install new wordpress, which didn’t help.
    what is happening with this plugin?
    please give us an update or must we abandon this plugin as 2 weeks have passed since this issue was logged.

    Looking forward to seeing this fixed as well. For me, the issue is tag type and value select boxes being broken after WordPress 5.5. update. I came up with the following fix until the author updates the plugin:

    mtm-builder.php

    Find:

    $html .= '<option'.$selected_attr.'>'.esc_html($option).'</option>';

    Replace:

    $html .= '<option value="'.esc_attr($option).'"'.$selected_attr.'>'.esc_html($option).'</option>';
