Meta tag description problems

    Hi,
    I just installed the 2.4 version on skillpoint.info website.
    If I add a generic meta description in the general setting page I get the description text shown on the page layout, I use the meta description field on a single page it runs fine, but I get non description at all for the page without description.
    This is the meta tags for a generic page with no description tag.

    Any tips?
    I need a generic description or an auto generate meta tag description when it’is not set.

    Sometimes, depending on the contents of the page, the algorithm that generates an automatic description fails to do so. In such a case, no automatic description meta tag is generated and you have to set a description manually.

    In this case, it seems that there is a bug involved. A description with content content=" ..." should never appear. This will be corrected in the next version.

    Despite this bug, an automatic description would not be added in this case anyway. You would still have to enter a manual description. An improved version of the algorithm that generates the description has been planned for a 2.4.X release of the plugin.
