    Hello,

I’m having a little bit of an issue with Meta Slider on my client’s website. We are using the Appointment theme by Webriti. The sliders once worked, but ceased working after a somewhat recent update. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to pinpoint when and at which update the sliders stopped working; I have only been able to report back that they no longer work when they once did.

I have confirmed that the sliders work when other themes are installed. The only thing I haven’t tried is disabling all of the other plugins. Below is the required information that should help:

The issue can be found here: https://furnaceroom.com (and https://furnaceroom.com/testimonials/)
It works with other themes: Yes
It works when I disable all other plugins: Haven’t Tried
    Meta Slider version: 3.5.1

Please let me know if you have any questions about anything. Thanks for your support.

    Thank You,
    Brett

  • Hi Brett,

From the browser developer console, it appears that something is breaking JavaScript on the site. As the slider works with other themes active, it is most likely that the Appointment theme is the cause of the issue.

I would recommend contacting your theme’s support and asking them to investigate

Thanks, @dnutbourne. I also had the same thought as far as the theme being the issue. The developer of the theme has offered to investigate for me. I’ll keep you posted!

This issue has been resolved. It turns out that is was a conflict with another plug-in; one that was intended to enhance the user experience and help the website score higher on Google’s PageSpeed tool. So much for that.

    Thank you for your support.
