Meta slider not working

HI!

I have installed the free version of Meta slider but cant seem to get it to work. I created the theme myself and from searching for a solution I think the problem might be with jquery but have no idea what to add and where to make it work.

I added the shortcode [metaslider id=1479]to this page https://thetaonline.co.za/newWeb/
and as you can see nothing shows up (the shortcode is there, i can see it by ‘inspecting element’ in Chrome)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
