    Hello,

about a week ago i posted on an a weird bug started happening on my website in which the meta-slider doesn’t advance to the next image and the arrows are not appearing. By doing a complete site backup i was able to get the plugin working again but The issue started occurring again within days unexpectedly. I have updated all the plugins including the theme and nothing worked. I also tried disabling all plugins and enabling only the meta slider and it didn’t work. I switched over to another theme to see if it was a theme related error but switching to twentie fifteen didn’t work either.

I went on the theme support forums to see what the error could be and they themselves accessed the Admin panel to see what could be done they thought it was another plugin conflicting, however after running some other tests they could not find the issue. So i tried making a new slider and it did not work. Their suggestion was to make a thread in the plugin support forums.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Here’s my website for reference: https://manases.org/

  • Hi minmanases,

jQuery is missing from your site.

I’m not sure what would have caused this but you should find that adding it back in will resolve your issues.

You can always use the jQuery updater plugin if you’re unable to locate the original theme version (if there was one).

    Thanks,
    Dave

Okay thanks so much i will check with the original theme files, it once worked but it stopped. If i can’t find it i will just add it through the plugin.

Update: Downloading a plugin called: “jQuery Updater” seems to have fixed it.
