    Hi there,

I’ve made a video to better explain the problem : Please, contact in MP to get the link.

Basically, the slider is fine on Windows and Android devices but for some reason, it don’t even load on an iPad (iPad Air 2) with Safari, Chrome or Firefox… That’s why I think it’s an iPad (or maybe iOS devices) issue.

By “it don’t even load” I mean, the website isn’t working at all…

    Best.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

It’s working with the test page. The first “slide” is a little bit slow but after that, it’s alright.

So, the problem seems to be the header..

When I try in NIVOSLIDER, it’s buggy but it’s working.

By “it’s buggy”, I mean the page is loading but I’ve some horizontal grey broad line at the bottom of the slider. Like if the pictures were cut.

    Hi,

This is a bit experimental at this point, but if using FlexSlider you can try adding this code as a mu-plugin and see if that helps. It will load the images later as the user changes images

You add this to a file like wp-content/mu-plugins/lazy-loading.php

Make sure to change the ID at the top.

Well, with this, I can load 2 slides on the ipad but on the first slide fading and the new one appearing, it’s like a whole page refresh…

    And then, it’s finally crashing

COINSLIDER is working too (like NIVOSLIDER) but the pictures are cut.

I don’t have the grey line like with NIVOSLIDER.

Can you switch it out for a slideshow that only has a few images?

It could just be that the iPad is running out of memory trying to redraw the screen

    Oh that’s it.

    With a 3 slides images, it’s working.

If you try it now, it should work on your old ipad.

Well, I guess I have to delete some images ??

Ok, i’ve deleted 40 slides on 80 and now, it’s seems to work, even on my old iPad ??

Is it the case for you ?
