META Slider for Image Facebook

    Hello everyone. The META Slider is the best thing I’ve seen in a long time and I’ve replaced all Tribulant instances

    My question is, if I share a post on Facebook (https://mecker-ecke.com/forum/topic/entwicklung-der-strompreise-deutschland-an-der-spitze/?part=1#postid-183) with a slide at the beginning or without an image at the beginning, the Facebook post uses the default image of the website. This is not an advertising aspect on Facebook. The first image is even displayed in the preview in the backend.

    Is something like this included in the PRO version, or how do I get a better image on Facebook?

    Hi @klwild. Thanks for using MetaSlider and for your kind words about the plugin.

    Unfortunately, controlling the “share” image for Facebook isn’t a feature of MetaSlider. That’s normally done by SEO plugins that also allow you to control the text in the message shared on social networks.
