  • Hi,

Please try disabling other plugins and/or switching theme. I suspect there is a conflict in there somewhere (as you say it works on other sites, but the code is identical). If you could narrow it down to a single plugin I’ll see if I can work out where the conflict is, and see if there’s anything I can add to Meta Slider to work around it.

    Regards,
    Tom.

    Hi Tom,
I did all of that, disabling/deleting plugins, changing themes and nothing helped. Right now, all plugins are off, and problem still exists.
    (Thank you for fast reply.)

    Hi,

Ok, thanks for confirming. Looking at the screenshot it doesn’t look like all the styling is coming through (the ‘Upgrade to Pro $19’ button should have a grey background for example). Could you use Chrome Developer tools to check if there are any errors in the console?

    Regards,
    Tom.

Yes, it looks like something is blocking styles.
Here is screenshot of errors: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15311921/Chrome%20Errors.png

Thanks. Hmm.. not sure what would be causing that (not very helpful sorry!)

Meta Slider uses the plugin_dir_url function to generate the URL for those includes, but it looks like its returning the wrong thing (it’s including the full path to the file.. which it shouldn’t).

Is there anything special about this WordPress installation? Do you have Meta Slider running on other WordPress sites hosted on the same server/account?

I don’t think I’m able to tell you what the problem is without debugging it on your server, if you’d like me to take a look please email an admin login through the form on https://www.metaslider.com/support (use WPSupport as the purchase ID)

    Tom,

    WP please.

Ok, I will send you now WP login info.
I have Meta Slider installed only on this site, I do not have access to other sites, because I am working on this site, not own it.

    Thank you for help!

I’m having a similar problem: When I try to a add a slide, the upload doesn’t work. So I added the images to my media library (and they’re there). But the Media Library tab is blank so I can’t select the images that way, and the search function doesn’t find any images either. All other plugins are deactivated and I have the same problem when I switch to the Twenty Twelve theme. Have I missed a step? I installed the plugin and proceeded directly to add slides.

I found the problem: the wp images folder wasn’t installed. Now all is working.

This turned out to be a strange symlink problem with wp_plugins_url. It’s fixed in the latest version. Setting to resolved.
