Meta Slider as "Featrured Image"

When inserting the meta slider, I would like to have it on the scale of the “Featured Image”, full page. When I select an image, the results are perfect.

Whether a “static” home page or post, the results are the same. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I am using the Twenty Fourteen theme.
