    I have this installed on 2 sites, along with the seo framework. Both sites have the same settings in both plugins yet 1 site has a bunch of warnings on all of its pages (see attached pic: https://www.whitneylee.me/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/SEO-conflicts.png)

    Does anyone know how I can correct this? I’m assuming it must be coming from the theme which is Pro Photo 6. I don’t see anything in seo framework that could be causing the conflict.

    Thank you!

    ps… also, how do I dismiss warnings? there’s no “x” and they’re taking up so much space.

  • Hi @whitwhit,

    WPSSO wants to take over regarding Social metadata. That’s why the notifications are output.

    To resolve the notifications:
    1. Go to /wp-admin/admin.php?page=theseoframework-settings.
    2. Scroll down to the Social Meta Settings meta box.
    3. Disable the first three options in the General tab.
    4. Disable everything in the Post Dates tab.

    Thanks so much for the speedy response! I had actually done that when I first installed it because I saw the conflict message on the main settings page but these are different conflict notes that only appear on the pages (services, about, home etc…) and only on the one site. the other appears to be fine which is why I thought it must be the theme? there are no other seo or social media plugins installed. thoughts?

    ps… is there a way to dismiss warnings?

    The warnings are not dismissable because a solution is offered – by applying the solution (adjusting the SEO Framework settings), the warnings will disappear.

    If you have different warnings then those mentioned above, then please copy-paste the text of those warnings in a reply here (text is always preferred over an image).

    Thanks,

    Oh, I’m sorry I linked to the wrong screen shot! Here’s the correct one: https://www.whitneylee.me/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/Screen-Shot-2017-07-13-at-2.55.33-PM.png

    And then per request, I’m copying the text below too!

    See the FAQ at https://wpsso.com/docs/plugins/wpsso/faqs/how-does-wpsso-find-detect-select-images/.

    As for the following duplicates, their position would indicate that they are being added by your theme:

    	<meta property="og:site_name" content="Roman Studios Blog" />
    	<meta property="og:type" content="article" />
    	<meta property="og:title" content="About" />
    	<meta property="og:url" content="https://www.roman-studiosblog.com/about/" />
    	<meta property="og:description" content="Roman Studios Blog" />
