    My site is using “TranslatePress” and “Yoast”

    Linkedin keeps grabbing a wrong tile when sharing of a translated page. But it looks like I have set everything correctly.

    Then I check the page using Linkedin’s tool:
    https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/inspect/

    It shows that the meta information is wrongly gathered.

    I wonder if it is the problem of the format of meta:
    When you click the “Title” on this inspect page, it says the required format is:
    <meta name=”title” property=”og:title” content=”[Content title here]”>

    It’s correct on Facebook
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    Thanks.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @anthonychan2509,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    We had a look at the URL you provided and do see the correct OpenGraph title that should be used by Facebook and LinkedIn. However, we can confirm that we see another title when we paste the URL in the Post Inspector tool on LinkedIn.

    When we did a search on the title LinkedIn uses (Click Hackers on the Run from Browser-Based Analysis Framework – CUHK in Touch) – we see that it’s in the page source for your RSS feed. However, we are not sure why LinkedIn would prefer to use that instead of the og:title that is on the page. We’ve seen this happen on occasion where LinkedIn grabs a feed or embed version title instead of the OpenGraph title, however, this is on their side.

    We recommend reaching out to LinkedIn in order to get this resolved.
