Meta information not saving

    Hello there,

    I am trying to add meta/custom fields to products during csv upload, but due to some error, it is not saving the meta information. However, when I edit the product and add the meta information, it saves the values. I am using a custom code to save this meta values in woocommerce dashboard product add/edit section.

    Kindly do suggest what is wrong with the configuration or I am missing something.

    FYI I have mapped all the meta headers with the actual values and things seem to be ok.

    Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Hi @dkheterpal,

    Please do an export of a product that is having the additional metadata by checking the Include hidden meta data tickbox. Column headers for the corresponding metadata will be present in the CSV. Use the same column header to import the data back.

    Thanks for your response.

    I am actually having problem in importing the custom/meta fields through csv.

    I don’t need to export data from the plugin. The thing is I can save/update custom fields through dashboard but importing these items through csv is not working for me.

    Hi @dkheterpal,

    Please use our premium version plugin to import additional metadata. Basic version does not support meta data import. You can use ‘meta:columnname’ to import meta data using the premium version.
