We’re using the default Twenty Twenty-Three Full Site Editor theme & there is no meta information displaying below the event description. No Time & Date, no location, no venue, & no map. I tested it out with Twenty Twenty-Two & had the same issue.

I read your The Events Calendar + Full Site Editor article as well as the Partial Support for FSE Themes known issue, but neither of them mention that none of the most important information will display on our events.

We have not enabled the Gutenberg block editor interface for creating events.

How do we display the meta info for each event?

    Hi there,

Yes, that’s exactly the incompatibility that FSE causes in our plugin for now. As it changes how the themes should be created and how post type single template works, it needs to recognize the current Single event layout provided by our plugin.

Because of that, our plugin is not FSE compatible yet, but that’s something in our roadmap to be fixed during this year.

There’s no workaround for the single event pages besides not using an FSE theme yet.

FYI I tried enabling the Gutenberg block editor interface for creating events under Settings > General & now its all displaying ??

On my site, https://blueheronrvcommunity.com/events/, event time does not show on the event modal or the single event page unless it’s written in the description. Can you help please?

    Thanks

Looking forward to when FSE is fully supported. As it turns out after I enabled the block editor via Events Settings I was able to edit / update future events to show the metadata. This worked for non-recurring events but didn’t work for recurring events.

This solution, partial as it may be, doesn’t work for me. FYI I am using the Divi theme.
