    Hi!

I bought the premium version of your plugin. In the settings there’s a way to make the price slider range dynamic, I was wondering if the same is possible with custom meta fields as well? If not is it something you’re planning add to the plugin in the future?

    Dear Riymak,

Thank you for your interest in our filtering plugin!

The dynamic price slider is a rather “heavy” option, but we have indeed added it, following the numerous requests from our users. Each additional dynamic slider would further increase the load on your server, especially if one has a shop with many filters and product counts.

I will add your feature request to our revision list, but please don’t hold your breath, for we may eventually decide against introducing this functionality for the reasons that I mention above.

I’m thinking it would be possible to optimize it a little if the min and max values for each category etc. (or even just global min and max) were saved every time a product is added or updated. But I’m guessing it really isn’t worth the extra development time required for such a small feature.

    Hello Riymak,

Your proposal on the category-based dynamic sliders’ min/max is rather interesting! I suppose we could search for a light way of maintaining these kinds of taxonomy (category?) based min/max values, for example by keeping them cached and refreshed at certain intervals. If you don’t mind, I will update your feature request with this version, because it sounds like a more feasible scenario.

Thank you so much for the idea, have a nice day!
