Meta, Edit Thumb, Rotate – don’t work

    Just noticed that in the backend “Manage Gallery” screen, the options: “Meta”, “Edit Thumb” and “Rotate” stoped working. When I click on any of these options I get a blank pop-up screen.

    I also noticed that on the front-end, when the same gallery is included in a post, a few thumbnails are missing. I then used the “Create new Thumbnails” option (in the backend) for the whole gallery, but it doesn’t seem to make any difference – a few thumbnails are still missing.

    Any idea whats going on?

    Hi @yuvalp,

    I am sorry but that’s not something we would be aware of as a global problem. We hope that you wouldn’t mind checking to ensure that you are using the latest version of NextGen Gallery and perhaps also check for a conflict with the other active plugins by temporarily deactivating those.

    A site+database backup would be highly recommended before proceeding.

    I have the same problem. All my metadata screens are blank. I have read at least 3 people already in this forum complain of the same problem. You say the issue is resolved but I can find no answer.
    Please help.

    Hi @squirrelbum,

    My problem with metadata screens was resolved by removing one of my Chrome Extensions, (which I think was something to do with malware protection, but I can’t recall the exact name…).

    Anyhow, it was a configuration issue on my Chrome browser.
    Try disabling all your extensions…
    Hope this is helpful.

    I am having the same issue with Edit Thumbnail, Meta, and Rotate. Just an empty pop-up box. I disabled all extensions and it did not help.

    Suggest you try using another browser (eg: Edge) if only to confirm it’s a browser related issue, which was the case in my experience.
