Meta descriptions on tag pages

Is it possible to implement this with filters?

Please see the following thread about this feature at our GitHub: https://github.com/sybrew/the-seo-framework/issues/140. There, I’ve proselytised our stance on the matter — mainly resolving around abuse of the feature –, among giving example snippets for titles primarily.

Until that’s implemented (there’s little demand, though…), this is possible with filters, yes. To get started, see https://tsf.fyi/docs/api/filters#description-related. You’d probably want to use filter the_seo_framework_generated_description and modify its return-value to your needs.
