Meta Description Not Updating

    Hello,

    Having a slight problem with the meta description updates. We want to change some pages but when we type in new description, it goes back to the original description. If I clear out description, the original description comes back. If I overwrite it, the original comes back. This is on multisite. Have the latest version 2.7.0 of plugin and wordpress (4.6.1).

    This happens on home page and product category pages in woocommerce.

    Are we missing something simple?

    Figured it out. The home page meta is from the SEO settings page. Not the actual “page” for home.

    Hi @richbee,

    That’s correct :). The home page SEO settings set in the general SEO Settings page take precedence over the in-post-edit SEO settings.
