Search engines aren’t tethered to your website: Changes you make to your website can take minutes, hours, days, or sometimes even weeks to propagate. Requesting crawls or having a properly functioning sitemap, as explained in the link of my previous reply, can speed this up tremendously.
Often, when Google doesn’t output the “correct” information from the metadata, it’s because the metadata doesn’t conform to their guidelines. Please see them here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/good-titles-snippets.
It could also mean that your pages’ descriptions don’t match the query you’ve entered (exactly) in Google. Google can form “better” titles and snippets for you; this is often helpful but not always desired. To help achieve the result you aim for, we offer the optional (and premium) extension Focus.
