Meta Description is deleting itself when I edit post

  • It seems that whenever I go in to edit a post, the meta description I’ve already created disappears, and I have to write a new one. What gives?

  • WordPress itself does not include any “meta description” feature.

    If you’ve installed some SEO plugin to have this meta description feature, it’s best you post your problem in the specific plugin’s forum, where the plugin’s developer and other users are more likely to see it and help you out.
