Meta Description Editor – set custom string to include post title

    I want to set this up so that it has the post title then a phrase
    I first tried to use {post} to insert the title in the description meta description field but the result is the the code {post} is inserted not the post title. Am I missing something in the syntax?
    Running SEO Ultimate 7.6.5.7

    Sorry, it is not constructed in that way.

    Here are the options of shortcodes that can be added in the default settings or the Title Tag Rewriter, but anything added in the title input area will be considered “exact” and not parsed.

    So, you would only see the shortcode in the title area if added there (like you experienced).
