    Hello,
We have set our homepage meta description through the plugin, but for some reason it keeps pulling in captions from featured instagrams from our page. Is anyone able to help with this?

  • It is a conflict with the last update of the plugin onesignal if you deactivate it the meta boxes appear again.

@lcreel Can you please clarify where you are seeing the captions that you mentioned? Are you seeing this in the Yoast metabox on the edit screen of your page in WordPress, or are you seeing this displayed as the meta description when your page is shown in search results for Google or another search engine?

We are seeing the incorrect version in the Google search results. We are seeing the correct meta description on the backend in the Yoast metabox.

    Hi,

We can see on https://www.discoverjacksonnc.com/ that Yoast is showing the right meta. See image: https://pasteboard.co/I69A0Kz.png

Can you confirm if you use Fetch as Googlebot that the issue is resolved? This will force Google to update the index. You may need to use it several times. This guide explains more:?https://kb.yoast.com/kb/fetch-as-googlebot/.
