Meta description called twice

  • I wonder why my pages do not ranked properly. And I just found that, I call meta description twice. Maybe, just maybe it is the cause.

    It because I have switched On the Meta Description (on SEO Option tab).
    So please be aware.

    Now I switch off the feature.

  • I’m not sure what you mean by calling the meta description twice, but I found that my pages in AMP had two images at the top, instead of one. My pages looked horrible, and my views fell off.

    It turned out that I had a different image in the “featured image” thing than at the top of the actual page. As soon as I made the images be the same, the problem went away.

    I’m slowly building up my page views again. (I had a court thing last month that occupied my mind to the exclusion of working on my site.)

    Hey @hadingr,

    I tested it on my end by enabling all the options but still getting single meta description.

    Can you share the URL and the options which you are using to see it twice?

    This meta, i.e
    <meta name="description" content="Banyak orang yang diam-diam memiliki selangkangan dan pangkal paha yang hitam. Sehingga tidak heran apabila&hellip;"/>
    is produced from AMP option’ SEO meta desc enabled.

    Btw, I use All in One SEO plugin.

    I’ve already turn SEO Meta Description off.
    But for testing purpose, I’ve turned it on. And here it is the output
