    Whats the difference with

    <meta name=”description”
    <meta name=”dc.description”

    Plugin Author George Notaras

    I mean that you should enable the generation of the ‘description’ and ‘keywords’ meta tag in one plugin (AMT or Yoast), so that there are not duplicate metatags in the page source.

    Is it <meta name=”description”
    <meta name=”dc.description” the two descriptions your talking about?

    Obviously AMT will be good to use. So right now are you seeing still two descriptions?

    <meta name="description"
    <meta name="dc.description"

    These are not considered duplicates.

    But these are:

    <meta name="description" content="description from AMT" />
    <meta name="description" content="description from Yoast" />

    Yes:

    <!-- BEGIN Metadata added by Add-Meta-Tags WordPress plugin -->
    <meta name="description" content="Glen Benton Interview - vocalist and
    ...

    <!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin
     ...
    <meta name="description" content="Glen Benton Interview - vocalist and bassist for legendary Death Metal band Deicide. We talk about In the Minds of Evil and the history of the band."/>
     ...

    Ok now I have to figure out how to remove the extra description from Yoast LOL

    It looks like I have to manually remove all descriptions originally entered in Yoast SEO. Because I just removed the Glen Benton one and looks good now.

    Future versions of AMT will make it possible to read external custom fields and use info from there.

    Until this is implemented and in order to avoid the trouble of removing every single description in Yoast, I would recommend unchecking the generation of ‘description’ and ‘keywords’ in the AMT settings.

    The Keywords I could keep enabled correct and should work good as I get some tags created for each posts?

    I am trying the plugin on another site I have to see what it does.

    I’m glad things work and about the fact that there are no bugs or conflicts involved.

    If AMT works as expected and you are happy with it, please consider rating it!

    Also, your suggestions and corrections are always welcome. ??

    FYI, I’ve scheduled the feature of reading info from external custom fields. It will be available in the upcoming versions of the plugin.

    BTW, good job on the Music Legends web site. ??

    Thanks for the kind words on my website. A Lot of years went into it and dedication. Now just need google to process it correctly to make the site more visible. ?? Keep up the great work yourself. Thanks

    Is it important to add google site verification in the Site-wide META tags? I did not do that
